Legendlore Core Rulebook

Legendlore Core Rulebook Overall, I really like this book. There is almost enough to work with here and it feels like it's mostly successful. The genre is one that is not often addressed in RPGs and it makes a solid attempt at doing so. I like the variety of new races and some of the new subclasses are things I would really love to play. That being said, I wish there was more guidance on how to start a game. This is a genre where the transition from concept through character creation to first session is incredibly important and more than a little complicated to get right. The Session Zero section, while it covers the importance of everyone's comfort at the table along with safety tools, is lacking in other advice about getting the game going. Fifth Edition characters are relatively competent, even at early levels, so there's some mild disconnect in figuring out what the PCs should be skilled at and when. The book spends a lot of time emphasizing that Crossing can make you into an envisioned You...

NUELOW Stock Art Collection #4: Scenes From Yesterday's Future Some excellent Public Domain SciFi images for use in TableTop RPG project etc. I've used them extensively. Quality is variable but some of them are excellent. I just wish the past wasn't so misogynist and was more inclusive. There are some images (inclduing the cover image) I couldn't bring myself to use. Still well worth the money, though.

1000 Bullets book 1 I have to say the story was so refreshing to read it was a throw back for me to the days when i was a bit younger and stared to get into comic book. Now the author has put a bit of time into it, the story is very intense as a read, definitely gets you from the first page you read, like the old west . The battle between the characters is so good and the repartee is a joy to read just dont know who is the good the bad "you get it" then comes the Twist in the story brlliant and this takes me to the art work it is of a very high standard really do like the black and white of the drawings works so well now if you like your heroes with xray eyes jetpacks and all the rest of that may not be for you but try it and you might like it for the rest of us " fantastic" so looking forword to the next instalment of this story....

Abiding Perdition Wonderul, fun, cheesy, great art. Storytelling is a little disjointed sometimes and the hero is the hottest, dumbest hero I've seen in a while, but great fun - everything a comic should be.

Artesia: Adventures in the Known World

Artesia: Adventures in the Known World It's a darn shame I haven't seen anyting from this writer in a long time. Artesia, even though it was formatted with the Fuzion system rules, is still one of my favorite books. I became a fan before the RPG, though, because I discovered the graphic novels that inspired this game. I loved the art, I really enjoyed seeing one of the first strong female oriented characters I remember reading. So when the game came out, I grabbed it. I was not disappointed. To put it kinda bluntly, I wish they would do a 5th Edition version. I'm waiting............

Pound of Flesh I am a huge fan of Rain, having discovered it back when it was on sale a little while ago. I sped through the entire collection in four days, and I was left wanting more. Imagine my surprise and happiness when I saw you released a new comic. In reality, your work and the ongoing series Snake Claws are really the only reason I even check DriveThru Comics anymore, and I'll always be happy to recieve more. I do hope you consider continuing this series. Your dark, serious, and gritty tones incorporated in your works goes well with a western backdrop. ...

Monster, Monster: Vampires " Few monsters are as popular or versatile as the vampire. It’s popularity and presence in the public mind has grown ever larger in every artistic genre from fiction and poetry, to movies and comics, and to roleplaying games." "They can be physically hideous, or they can be as beautiful as angels. They can be soulless monsters, or they can victims of a curse they wish to be liberated from. When it comes to vampires, only your imagination limits you, because the genre standards for them are fluid and many. Some might even say there are no standards for how to properly portray a vampire in fiction" Monster, Monster: Vampires By Ed Fedory, Andrew Pavlides, Steve Miller From NUELOW Games clocks in at forty pages for Fifth edition Dungeons & Dragons. But actually Monster, Monster: Vampires has the usual NUELOW Games Skywald publishing monster comic book story. This is followed by several different types of vampires in monster camps such as this lovely; "Fe...

On the Wall • A World of Adventure for Fate Core

Publisher: Evil Hat Productions, LLC
Date Added: 05/28/2021 13:31:56
On the Wall • A World of Adventure for Fate Core # **Dystopian teenage super mutants - a Mephisto review** **On the wall** What would happen if a part of humanity suddenly developed superpowers - that is the question that the ***Fate*** world** On the Wall** takes on, based on the comic of the same name. In the world of On the Wall, these super mutants are usually not the heroes who fight some super villains in colorful capes to the cheers of the population. Instead, the sudden appearance of superpowers has led much of the people to fear these mutants, so harsh laws have been introduced to control them. A central measure is that teenagers who develop these powers must visit special schools to learn how to harness their powers. This way, their powers should be kept in check. Of course, the player characters are such teenagers, who each have a single superpower (which doesn't necessarily have to be spectacular). The game offers a mix of superhero stories, dystopian governmental control, and teenage chaos. Accordingly, the book ...

M20 The Art of Mage: 20 Years and More
by Björn L.
Publisher: Onyx Path Publishing
Date Added: 05/28/2021 13:04:02
M20 The Art of Mage: 20 Years and More # **More than trenchcoats and katanas - a Mephisto review** **The Art of Mage - 20 years and more** For the anniversary edition of ***Mage M20***, an accompanying artbook has been published, which tries to summarize twenty years of illustration history. Satyros Phil Brucato first looks back self-critically at the beginnings of ***Mage*** and the illustration style of "Trenchcoats and Katanas." Subsequently, the reader learns a bit about the workflow in the early years, when illustrations were still sent by mail, revealing glimpses into the early years of White Wolf. However, the central part is titled *Artistic Legacies*, introducing many illustrators with a background, anecdotes, and stories - and especially their artistic work for Mage. The artbook impressively shows the range the illustrators have covered and how ***Mage***'s graphic representation has changed over the years. The last chapter also presents the illustrations of ***Mage M20*** - and proves that Mage ...
